Is this a franchise?

No. You are buying a licence to use the Pure Bookkeeping System.

What’s the difference between a licence and a franchise?
  • A Franchise is an authorization to sell a company’s goods or services in a particular place.  An individual who purchases and runs a franchise is called a "franchisee." The franchisee purchases a franchise from the "franchisor." The franchisee must follow certain rules and guidelines already established by the franchisor, and in most cases the franchisee must pay an ongoing franchise royalty fee, as well as an up-front, one-time franchise fee to the franchisor.
  • A Licence allows the Licensee to access and use data which is “owned” by the Licensor for a fee and under a specific set of conditions. Flag Enterprises t/as Pure Bookkeeping owns the Pure Bookkeeping System but we are letting you use it and for that you pay a fee.
What other fees are there?
  • Apart from the initial licence fee of $11,000 (inc GST) there is an annual fee of $660(inc GST)
  • Additional Bookkeeping Manuals I & II can be purchased (and customized) for the use of other members of your team for $495 each(inc GST)
What do I get for the ongoing annual fee?
  • Annual updates to the Manuals, CD’s and DVD’s as a result of feedback from licencees, changes in legislation, upgrades of MYOB and rolling over for new year dates.
  • V2 (due out in May/June 2011) will have Camtasia DVD’s, a detailed training module and bookkeeping manuals for QB
What’s the process when I sign up?
  • We will email the licence for you to sign, scan and email back as soon as possible
  • We will then sign, scan it and email you back your copy
  • As soon as we receive your signed licence we’ll post the complete set of Manuals along with the CD’s (or Bookkeeping I & II for the 45 day trial)
  • You can get on with growing your business

Do you provide a guarantee?

Yes. In fact, we have two guarantees – Firstly, in the unlikely event that you don’t love the Bookkeeping Manuals Part I & II, send them back within 45 days and we’ll give you a full refund, no questions asked. Secondly, we guarantee that if you implement at least the Bookkeeping and Sales and Marketing Manuals the Pure Bookkeeping System will pay for itself within 12 months – if it doesn’t we’ll refund the difference

What sort of support will I get?
  • You will receive weekly emails from us for 90 days to help you get started and get the most out of the Pure Bookkeeping System
  • You can access the Forum section of our website where common questions can be posted and answered
